Lagos approves full reopening of churches, mosques, cinemas, spas, gyms and others.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, at a briefing in Lagos on Saturday announced the full reopening of worship centres and partial reopening of cinemas, Spas and gyms in the state after almost 6 months shut down due to Covid-19 pandemic.

In the brief, he said that churches can begin their weekly services while the Mosques can now hold their normal prayers five times daily.

He also announced the immediate resumption of cinemas, spas and gyms but must however keep strictly to 33% of full size, meaning that only three out of every 10 seats should be occupied.

He said they must get necessary certification from the Lagos State Safety Commission while the governor warned religious centres not to flout safety protocols.
