Sanwoolu made it known that there is need to celebrate our cultural icons while they are alive, and he feels the way to celebrate her impact in the entertainment sector.
Today, at the commissioning of LagosHOMS Phase 2 Scheme at Igbogbo, I presented a 3- bedroom apartment to Mama Awero, a Nollywood veteran. I believe our cultural icons should be celebrated when alive and not only after they are no more.
The 360 unit estate comprising 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments symbolises our unwavering commitment to the Greater Lagos Project, and our determination to build and deliver modern homes that will cater to the need of Lagosians irrespective of social or economic status.
We are doing extensive road infrastructure in Igbogbo and we are extending another road from Ibeshe. The Baiyeku Road needs to be fixed and we will look at it once we are able to push the ongoing Igbogbo road project to a significant stage.
We are also working on the Agric-Isawo and Oba Sekumade Road, while we are planning the redevelopment of the roundabout at Ita Elewa. All these projects are being done to bring real development into Ikorodu and improve the lives of the people in this important area of our State.
