Two dead bodies have been recovered from the debris of seven uncompleted storey building undergoing which collapsed early Sunday, 4 September, 2022 at Oba Idowu Oniru Street beside Avi Maria Hospital, Lagos.
The news of the building collapse was broken via a statement by the Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority (LASEMA), Dr Olufemi Damilola Oke-Osanyintolu early Sunday, 4 September, 2022.

According to the statement, six people trapped under the debris of the uncompleted building collapse.

Latest reports from the scenes of the building collapse confirmed that the agency’s heavy duty equipment are already on ground.

Two dead bodies have been recovered from the debris while four people are still trapped in the building.Rescue operations are still ongoing at the scene of the building collapse.
