FORMER LAGOS LEGISLATORS MOBILIZE SUPPORT FOR ASIWAJU-SHETTIMA,SANWO-OLU-HAMZAT, RT.HON OBASA, OTHERS

The Lagos Legislative Forum, the umbrella body for former Honourable members of the Lagos State House of Assembly, have decided to put their weight behind Bola Ahmed Tinubu Presidential ambition.
They have also thrown their weight behind the second term bid of Governor Sanwo-Olu and the return of the Rt.Hon Speaker Mudashiru Obasa back to the leadership of the Lagos Assembly.
The group’s forum which has over 100 members was hosted by Hon.Tajudeen Agoro last Saturday at Eko club, Suru-lere.
In his press statement by the forum’s spokesman, Hon Ahmed Ipoola Omisore, who also double as the Independent Campaign Committee, ICC, Director of Political engagement and Legislative Matters, commended the members and urged them to sensitize Lagosians on the need to collect their PVCs.
He further urged them not to relent in their efforts until the party’s presidential candidate wins and record a landslide victory in the state.
Said he” the task before all is a payback for the National leader, having been there for hundreds of political class in Lagos and Nigeria in general and that nothing can be too much to do to support the presidential aspiration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu”
In the same vein, Rt.Hon Fasina, a one-time Deputy speaker, who chaired the meeting also urged them to work assiduously as fathers and leaders in their constituency, in conjunction with the former House of Representatives and former Councillors within their constituencies to ensure victory at the polls for the candidates”
The meeting ended by raising funds to produce banners and billboards for Asiwaju, Sanwo-Olu and Rt.Hon Obasa.
