REPS MEMBER VISITS ECOLOGICAL AFFECTED COMMUNITIES IN IFAKO-IJAYE
The federal lawmaker representing Ifako-ijaiye at the green chambers of the National Assembly, Hon. James Adisa Owolabi and The Executive chairman ifako-ijaiye Local government Hon. Toba Oke have visited the ecological affected communities in order to assess the magnitude of damage done by the recent excessive rainfall in the area.
Owolabi sympathized with the residents of the affected communities and assured them of an urgent government intervention to correct the ecological degradation.
He noted “I represent you, your worries and problems are my worries and problems. It is when you are at peace I will be at peace . I am assuring everyone that in no time we would have reasons to smile because I won’t rest until these problems are solved.
Earlier, the rep member has on the floor of the green chamber mentioned the ecological problems facing his constituency.
He pleaded with the House to consider his constituency for quick intervention as it continues to affect the socio-economic lives of his people.
With his step, the house has recommended the problem to the appropriate body to look into the rep member.
