NIGERIAN DEFENCE ACADEMY (NDA) WARNS PUBLIC AGAINST FAKE SOCIAL MEDIA HANDLES

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has noted with grave concern the increasing number of Facebook accounts and other social media handles displaying its name and portraying themselves as the official social media handles of NDA.
The Academy Public Relations Officer, Major Abubakar Abudullahi who made this known in a statement issued on Tuesday, said that some of these unofficial handles include “NDA Kaduna Videos” and “NDA Cadets” among others transmit various messages and images with the sole intent of deceiving members of the public and achieving their various nefarious goals.
“We hereby denounce these fake social media accounts and strongly advise the general public to desist from having any official interaction with them.
“ Please note that NDA maintains only one official Facebook and one Twitter handle viz @DefenceAcademyNG and @HQ_NDA respectively.
The general public is further advised to please disregard any information emanating from such fake accounts and report the operators to the NDA Military Police or any nearest authority”, he said.
