Globaltimes The Organising Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Lagos State chapter, Mr Ayo Joseph, has resigned as one of the political appointees who wish to seek elective offices.
The Lagos State Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, in a statement made available to the Sunday PUNCH on Friday notified all political appointees and public servants who wish to engage in political activities to tender their resignation.
A source who does not want to be named confided in our correspondent that as of Friday afternoon, only one political appointee had resigned.
He noted that some other appointees currently serving in different positions were also expected to resign his position.
