The Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA), on Monday, announced the cancelation of some bus- stops on the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.
In a circular rolling out traffic guides and approved Bus-stops for bus operators, the LASTMA zone 20 command, said National Filling Station; Dopemu underbridge, Pako Bus-stops among others have been cancelled.
The circular read, “LASTMA Zone 20 P.W.D commander rolled out traffic guides and approved bus stops for commuters within Zone. As seen flying on social media, LASTMA for Zone 20 PWD which covers from Bolade-Oshodi along Lagos Abeokuta Expressway toward Dopemu area released a one page document signed by the zonal commander and Zebra dated 14th November, 2023 list of approved bus stops within the zone which includes, Bolade- Oshodi; Ladipo Bus stop; Shogunle; P.W.D; Airport; Ikeja Along Bus stop; Ajayi Farm; Mongoro Bus stop; Cement Bus stop and Dopemu Garage.
“Emphasis are made that bus drivers should desist from picking or dropping passengers at unauthorized bus stops along the Lagos Abeokuta Expressway not limited to, the Arena Complex; Alasia; Olori; National Filling Station; Dopemu Underbridge and Pako
“Commuters are also advise to comply with The Lagos State Traffic Reform Law 2018 (as amended),” statement read
