Lagos Commissioner Commends lawmaker’s Giant Strides in Ifako-Ijaye
The Hon. Commissioner for Youth and Social Development in Lagos State, Mobolaji Ogunlende, has heaped praises on Hon. Adewale Temitope Adedeji, OON (JP), member representing Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency 01 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, for his giant strides in education within his constituency.
He gave the commendation on recently at the presentation of 250 free GCE slips to indigent students in Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency 01.
Speaking during the event, Mr Ogunlende praised Adewale for investing in the future of the youths, saying it’s a great way to ensure they turn out great and useful for the local government, Lagos State, and Nigeria as a whole.


“The youths are everywhere. So, as your commissioner for youth and social development, what I try to do is go everywhere I am invited to engage the youths, and that’s why I am here. Let me first of all thank my friend, Hon. JAH, for the great work he is doing. This is a testament to the work you are doing. We must build our youths, we must build our nation.
“One man cannot do it alone. We all have our parts to play. This is the part that he is doing. So, thank you for everything you are doing for the youths, especially in the area of education.”
Under the Adewale Temitope Adedeji Educational Initiatives (ATA-EI), Hon. Adewale Temitope has provided a total of 855 free GCE forms, 4,100 free JAMB forms, scholarships to 49 students, rehabilitation of public schools in Ifako-Ijaiye, donation of educational support materials to students, among other initiatives.
